About a 5 mile trip up the curvy Wildcat Canyon Road, Barona Resort and Casino appears out of nowhere after hillsides and farmland, like an welcoming oasis. Chief among them and one of the best is Barona. There are many casinos in the greater San Diego Area that will vie for your attention. Also, they have The Filipino Channel, which I don't think any other hotel has with their offerings.The only minor down points that I can think of is that there is no menu guide for the TV to see what is on each channel, so you are forced to channel surf to find something good on TV. An added bonus point for being able to program your Barona Club card to also be your Room Key. The Hotel Room itself was very clean and tidy. Not only with the hotel staff but also with Security, Casino Staff and even the all the restaurant employees smile gleefully which just makes your day better. Overall Barona has the best service among all the Casinos around San Diego.
